BELIEFS
Walkerville Wesleyan Church exists to love our community towards Christ; by empowering local leaders, building communal spaces, and meeting our communities needs.
Vision statement
Empowering Local Leaders
WWC is a church that invests in leaders within our community to develop them for God’s kingdom. We want to see people within our community be encouraged, supported, and strengthened in their God-given leadership abilities. (Acts 1:8, James 3:17, Exodus 18:21, and Mark 10:45)
Building Communal Spaces
WWC wants to create spaces for people to gather and “do life together.” We are a church that will open up our church, homes, and nature for people to gather together. Our hope is that by creating space for people to gather we’ll be able to grow in our faith and love for one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts 2:42, Colossians 3:16, and Deuteronomy 31:12-13)
Meeting Our Communities Needs
WWC will invest our time and resources into meeting the communities needs God has placed on our heart. Ocean county has many needs and our desire as a church is to be like Christ in our service to our community. (Hebrews 10:24, Romans 12:13, Philippians 2:3-4, and 1 Peter 4:10)

WESLEYAN BELIEFS:
The Wesleyan Church believes in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life.
We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
